As for the beginners snowboard groups the level 2 and 3 run mostly in the afternoons (sometimes late morning) as the snow is softer and therefore safer for the snowboarder who may still take a few falls.
Level 2
What can you already do?
I have mastered turning on greens and easy blue runs but fear steepness, I have done one or two weeks.
What will I learn?
Confirdence turning on steeper and more difficult terrain, introduction to riding switch.
What kind of slopes/lifts will I be on?
Blue runs and maybe later even red ones using both chairs and drag lifts.
What lift pass do I need?
Single valley pass is sufficient but a three valley extension may be required for a longer day.
Level 3
What can you already do?
I am turning competently on blues and reds and have boarded for 2 to 3 weeks.
What will I learn?
You will learn to enjoy speed, even harder slopes, like red and black into fresh powder and an introduction to freestyle tricks.
What kind of slopes/lifts will I be on?
Blues, reds and blacks using both chairs and drag lifts. I may even go a little off piste.
What lift pass do I need?
Three valley pass. Isurance that covers off piste.
