The following are the conditions that apply to all client bookings.
1. Full payment is required to confirm a booking. We cannot hold unconfirmed bookings for more than 3 days.
2. Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Euro cheque, bank transfer, or if booked in resort in cash, in all cases prior to the lesson.
3. Cancellations: bookings cancelled with at least 60 days notice will be refunded 100%, thereafter bookings cancelled with at least 30 days notice will be refunded 50%, bookings cancelled with less than 30 days notice will not be refunded. In all cases where a full refund is not possible we will provide proof of cancellation/non-attendance for the purpose of insurance. Magic will not cancel lessons due to lift closures, weather or snow conditions apart from off piste lessons.
4. Groups: A minimum of 3 people is required to run any group lesson. In the absence of sufficient bookings we will offer a choice of a refund or the equivalent price in private lessons.
5. Group sizes: bookings in group lessons are limited to the numbers advertised. On arrival in resort we verify all clients' levels and harmonization of all groups is carried out during the first two days to ensure that each person is in the correct group for their level. Accordingly we reserve the right to alter group sizes if we feel a client’s ability is more suited to a group different to the one booked.
6. Insurance: Magic Academy and all of its instructors are covered by professional insurance. All clients are required to have their own insurance cover for the risks inherent in their participation in snowsports activities.
7. Off piste: All private lessons booked as off piste and all groups (adult and children) of level 3 (Silver) or greater may at some point during their lesson go into areas of the domain that are not groomed by the mountain piste services (and are therefore technically considered to be “Off piste”), whilst it is the responsibility of the instructor and Magic Academy to ensure that this is appropriate in each case, the client accepts the possibility of going off-piste when they book such lessons and shall ensure that he/she has insurance cover that covers off piste skiing/snowboarding in the company of a qualified guide/instructor.
