     Adult's Ski Levels

Beginners
 
What can you do already?
   Not a lot this is my first experience...
What will I learn?
   You will start in the beginner slopes, learning to slide and stop in snowplough.
What kind of slopes/lifts?
   You will progress when ready onto the gentle green slopes using the gondolas and easy chairs.
What lift pass do I need?
   Single valley pass needed.
 
 
Level 1
 
What can you do already?
   I am starting to do snowplough turns on easy green slopes; I have done maybe one week.
What will I learn?
   You will learn to master the snowplough turn on green runs.
What kind of slopes/lifts?
   Green runs and easy blue runs using both chairs and drag lifts.
What lift pass do I need?
   Single valley pass needed.
 
 
Level 2
 
What can you do already?
   I have mastered the snowplough turn on greens and easy blue runs my skis are often parallel between turns, I have done one    or two weeks.
What will I learn?
   This is your introduction to the parallel turn.
What kind of slopes/lifts?
   Blue runs and maybe later even red ones using both chairs and drag lifts.
What lift pass do I need?
   Single valley pass is sufficient.
 
 
Level 3
 
What can you do already?
   I ski parallel on blue runs but sometimes use a snowplough when it gets tricky; I have skied 2 to 5 weeks.
What will I learn?
   You will learn to control your parallel turn on harder slopes, like reds and even trips through the forest and into fresh powder.
What kind of slopes/lifts?
   Blues, reds and maybe easy blacks using both chairs and drag lifts. I may even go a little off piste.
What lift pass do I need?
   Three valley pass. Insurance that covers off piste.
 
 
Level 4
 
What can you do already?
   I am already parallel on easier red runs and like to go fast but need more control and technique for those blacks and bumps, I    have skied at least 5 weeks.
What will I learn?
   You will learn to perfect your parallel turn, and technique for varied conditions whilst experiencing the thrill of speed.
What kind of slopes/lifts?
   Blacks, blacks and blacks oh ok we do have to do blues and reds too.
What lift pass do I need?
   Three valley pass. Insurance that covers off piste.
 
 
Level 5
 
What can you do already?
   I can ski parallel on any marked piste; I've lost count of how much I have skied.
What will I learn?
   Technique for all terrain in all snow conditions.
What kind of slopes/lifts?
   Hard stuff.
What lift pass do I need?
   Three valley pass. Insurance that covers off piste.
 

 

     Kids Ski Levels

Beginners
 
What can you do already?
   Not a lot this is my first experience...
What will I learn?
   You will start in our specialised beginners garden, learning to slide and stop in snowplough.
What kind of slopes/lifts?
   You will progress when ready onto the gentle green slopes using the gondolas and easy chairs in the company of an adult.
What lift pass do I need?
   Single valley pass needed.
 
 
Level 1 (Crystal)
 
What can you do already?
   I am starting to do snowplough turns on easy green slopes, I have done maybe one week or a few days on dry slopes.
What will I learn?
   You will learn to master the snowpough turn on green & blue runs.
What kind of slopes/lifts?
   Green runs and easy blue runs using both chairs and drag lifts.
What lift pass do I need?
   Single valley pass needed.
 
 
Level 2 (Bronze)
 
What can you do already?
   I have mastered the snowplough turn on greens and easy blue runs my skis are often parallel between turns. I have done one    or two weeks.
